I have just downloaded your wedding ivory template and would like to know how customizable it is as far as font color, adding widgets, etc. This is my first blog and I need all the help I can get.
(December 18th, 2009 at 4:04 pm)If you want to add widgets to your template; goto Layout -> Page Elements and add widgets according to your taste, however, if you want to change colors, you’ll need to know BASIC HTML, in case you don’t know, you can tell me and I’ll help you out!
(December 18th, 2009 at 4:04 pm)I’ve been playing with this and figured out how to change the text color so I’m good on that part. There are a couple of things I don’t know how to do though and maybe you will help me with that.
I would like to change the width of the post text area so that the page doesn’t look so texty and there are so many margins in the html that I don’t know where to start.
Also, I want to put ad boxes at the top of the sidebar and don’t know how to change the sidebar box so that it starts beneath the ads.
Would you please tell me how to do both of those things? I have fiddled with it quite a bit but haven’t found how they did it yet.
Thank you so much for all of your help.

Regarding your first question, in EDIT HTML, find main-wrapper and change the width value accordingly. As I said earlier in order to add widgets goto ‘Page Elements’ and add widgets from their.

Could you possibly look at this template (the wedding ivory one) and tell me where I adjust that wrapper outlining the sidebar? I don’t want it to line up with the overall wrapper but to be adjustable to start beneath the ads I’ll be putting there. Actually I would like the top of it to be adjustable depending upon how much I want to put above it. Is that possible?
Or would you rather I contact whoever designed the template for their assistance?
Thanks again for your help – by the way, where are you? I don’t think you’re in the US because of the time difference (I’m in Bali and it looks like you are between me and the states).
Thanks again,

I’m afraid that’s not possible. The outline you see around the sidebar is actually a part of an image. If you search inside your template, you’ll find 3~4 images that make up this template, therefore, adjusting it is out of question.
I am from UK. All the best on your new blog!
