Hi!
(October 21st, 2009 at 11:50 am)I really love this one and would like to use it for my movie blog. Only problem is that I don’t know how to replace the welcome text in the side box. Could I please get help in how to change it in HTML? Also, I might not need the navigation bar, is it easy to remove?
Goto Edit HTML, check “Expand Widget Templates“; search and locate <div id=”welcome”> Replace the message with the one of your own.
Regarding, your second query, search and locate <div class=’navigation’> now delete the following line shown below:
If you need help let me know.

(October 21st, 2009 at 1:23 pm)My pleasure! What do you mean by “how to create content to the links“. Please elaborate it.
(October 21st, 2009 at 1:59 pm)I’m – obviously – not very good at this computer stuff, but I’ll try to explain as well as I can.
(October 21st, 2009 at 2:36 pm)How can I control what pops up when somebody clicks on the “About us” link on the navigation bar? I don’t know how and where to create the content that the link refers to (for example, that the “About us” link would lead to information about the writer or it would go straight to my blogger profile).
Hope that made some sense…
The About us page should lead to a page located somewhere on your blog. It CAN NOT lead to your blogger profile. If you haven’t written a about us page, then write a post about yourself and publish it. Copy the URL of that post. After that inside EDIT HTML, check Expand Widget Templates; search and locate <div class=’navigation’> now replace the line shown in bold
<li><a expr:href=’data:blog.homepageUrl’>About Us</a></li>
with the following line :
<li><a href=”YOUR-ABOUT-US-URL ’>About Us</a></li>
and paste your about us URL that you copied earlier with YOUR-ABOUT-US-URL. Save and you’r done!
